Season of the Assassin is goat
Yes. Although, I haven't listened to anything past God of the Serengeti. My favorite vinnie is still his work with JMT, particularly , psycho social, violent by design and visions of gandhi. Legacy of blood was pretty good. Started falling off with History of violence. Violence begets violence started to become a parody of itself
You should understand that I ain't really ****in' around
And if you don't, you gonna find your body stuck in the ground
Naw I listen to pure ignorance when I work out

Vinnie dropped had had some pretty good songs sprinkled in his last couple albums. They’ve felt more underground.

But yeah Vinnie got noticeably lazier with his rhymes after God of the Serengeti.

You ain't a thug money, you all maggots
You like to chill and hold hands with ***gots
You like to conduct yourself like a savage
You like the smell of males on your mattress
I greet beef with a smile
Cause I ain't punched a ***got in his teeth in a while
I civilize the savages while you support gay marriages
You just a homosexual
I think the gay rights movement should
Meet you and invest in you
Rhymin' 'bout flowers 'n ****
And poets on the mic for twenty hours 'n ****
I'm housin' ya ****; shuttin' ya ****in' mic off
Snatch ya ****in' poetry book and then kick the dyke off
You like to sleep with guys
You a gay maggot
Listening to ****ing B2K, ***got
Go to raves ***got, put a hole in your heart
Destroy everything you that you know and you thought

man, giving me lifting nostalgia. I just went and looked at my old spotify not metal lifting playlist: Vinnie Paz, Jedi Mind Tricks, Snowgoons, Hopsin, Jarren Benton, Dope DOD, Twisted Insane, Tech N9ne, Diabolic, Army of the Pharoahs, Swollen Members, Ces Cru, Brotha Lynch, Madchild... What happened to hip hop since back then, is horrorcore even a thing anymore?
