oxyELITE Pro/ Lean Extreme /REDuction Stack. Destroying Fat for 30 days!
Weight loss is a marathon, but for the next 30 days my life will be a complete sprint. I am going to see how far proper diet, supplementation, exercise, and rest will take me on my weight loss journey.

I am beginning the oxyELITE Pro/ Lean Extreme /REDuction Stack on 16 November 2010 and will be writing my progress here. This is my first real log here on this website.
The plan is to lose fat. Plain and simple. Gradually over the last 10 years I have gained 40 pounds. My immediate short term goal is to lose fat while building muscle. I would like to eventually drop to under 190.
Why am I fat? Dare I saw life crept up on me in my 30’s? The duties of marriage, fatherhood, work and furthering my own education placed blinders over my eyes about the most important thing I could possibly do for myself and family. That thing is to maintain my physical health and weight! I bare all the blame and the fault is completely mine.
About 2 months ago I started looking at how many calories I actually ate. I was one of the people that made excuses about metabolism and state “I don’t eat that much”. Once I started logging my actual calories, I understood that the reason why I was fat was that I was eating excessively too many calories. I decided to change my eating habits.
I have managed to drop 20 pounds over the last 2 months by switching to mostly raw foods diet and exercising. I love eating healthy and feel much more energetic cutting out all the processed crap that I used to eat. Once I started eating healthy food, I no longer craved the junk food that was a staple of my diet.

[b]Body Fat:[/b] 30 percent. This is a rough estimate. I need to realistically drop a few pounds more before I concentrate on the actual percentage. All I know is that I am fat, and it needs to change.
[b]Diet:[/b] I am going to eat 1800 calories of a high protein, moderate carb diet. I do log my macros occasionally at fitday.com. I am not going to concern myself strictly with macros, other than reducing carbs.
My diet will consist of plenty of raw foods and lean protein. The emphasis at this point will be on ensuring that I eat under 1800 calories. I plan to drink over a gallon of water a day.

[b]Weights:[/b]
Monday: Chest and Triceps
Tuesday: Back and Biceps
Wednesday: Shoulders
Thursday: Legs and abs.
[b]Pushups:[/b] I am currently doing the 100 Pushup challenge on hundredpushups.com. I am in week 3. I plan to continue the pushup plan throughout this 30 day period on Monday/Wednesday and Friday.
[b]Cardio[/b]
I am going to do 60-90 minutes of cardio a day, 6 days a week.
[b] Sleep:[/b] Hopefully with the help of REDuction pm I will get at least 8 hours of sleep a day.
[b]Supplements[/b]
Taken as suggested:
Oxyelite: 2 caps upon waking - 1 caplet 6 hours later.
REDuction pm: 2 tablets 30 minutes before bedtime
Lean Extreme: 1 tablet upon waking. 1 Tablet 4 hours later and repeated again in another 4 hours.
Other items that I will be taking:
Fish Oil Caps: 2 a day
Glutamine: 30 minutes before workout
Multivitamin
Protein Powders: (My plan is to only use these as an occasional meal replacement)
Metabolic Drive Low Carb Chocolate
Zero Carb Isopure: Cookies & Cream, Pineapple Orange Banana.
[b]Sleep:[/b] I am aiming for 8 hours a night and will keep a sleep diary next to my bed.
[b] Weight:[/b] I will be logging my weight here every day along with my progress. I fully expect to see fluctuations on a daily basis due to water weight.
