Cutting Macro Advice?
Hi everyone,
I'm new here, so please go easy on me! I'm female, 20 years old, and have been cutting fat over the last couple of years, beginning in 2013. I am 5'6 and began at 185lbs (in 2013) and am currently fluxing between 141-144lbs and would estimate my BF% to be between 25-28%.
I began a cut at the beginning of the summer (end of April, beginning of May) and started at apx. 150/155lbs, eating somewhere between 1700-1800 cals/day. I saw fairly steady progress throughout the summer but am seeing very little within the last month/month and a half. I was at 1650 at the beginning of September which I kept up for awhile, and have since reduced again to 1550 after seeing little results in a six week period. My current macros are 113P, 70F, 149C.
I lift 4-5 times per week for about 60-80 minutes and do cardio 1-2 per week for about 30 minutes.
What am I doing wrong? Over these last five months I don't feel I've lost much fat.
Any advice will be taken gratefully!

Looks like you're doing the right things, slowly changing you macros based on the results you get. Also, you can't only pay attention to the scales, if you're still lifting you may be getting better composition without weight changes. Have you had muscular growth? Are you progressing the amount of weight?

What's your TDEE OP? It sounds like you're working out a lot, so it should be quite high! Bare in mind the less you weight the less calories you need to consume, so as you lose weight, reducing calories with it will be necessary as your Maintenance will decrease. How are you tracking food?

I try to progress my weight from about 2.5-5lbs weekly, though I can admit I don't always increase. I have seen some muscle growth over the five months, but not a significant amount.

My TDEE is 2081. I try to recalculate every time I lose 5lbs. I'm tracking with MFP, and I'm fairly meticulous with weighing and measuring.
