I washed my moms hair with 2 face clothes and shampoo with a rinse yesterday, She loved it,even if her eyes didn't open. I got her favorite flowers yesterday from her favorite florist who did a great job. I didn't get my mom flowers because it was Mothers Day weekend. I got them because she loves lillies. She can't go outside now like she wanted. I wanted her to be surrounded by important things she enjoyed and loved. My brother messaged me tonight to come back to the hospital,so I am hereðShe hugged me tightly when she came around for a few minutes. If you have a parent who is well or ill but can be present in any scene, go see them. My mom is my best friend. If they are palliative like mine, keep talking to them... They can hear you and understand even if they don't reply. Hug them and kiss them.
