Nothing better than the sound of the ball hitting the hardwood and echoing through the gym....and....there’s nothing better than playing in front of a wild crowd of fans so load you can’t hear your heartbeat. There are times when the gym is loud, communication between teammates, coaches directions, fans cheering, working, sweating, getting after it. Then there are other times when it is just you in the gym or weight room. Not all hustle is loud. Sometimes hustle is just you, all alone, grinding, while no one hears a sound. It is at times like this when you realize that excuses will always be there for you, but opportunity won’t be.
