It’s hard looking back at some pictures for me…. All the inner work that I’ve done, really opened up my eyes to the trauma I went through and what I had come to know as love. A version I never want my future kids to ever experience. The being yelled at and threatened by a significant other. I’ve started working through research on healthy relationships; which all of our relationships are massively influenced by the relationship we first had with our parents. My father had bipolar disorder and my mother always had to keep the household together. But part of healing is knowing what patterns from childhood need to be broken in order to live healthier. For example, feeling like you have to look or act a certain way in order to be loved, is not love. Love is unconditional. Love is freeing. Love is supportive. ♥️
