Sticky Thread Sticky: The Bench Form Thread

We see a lot of threads asking for bench form critiques on this forum. I feel like most of these threads are made because people don’t know how to critique their own form. They just don’t know what to look for. I’m hoping to narrow that gap with this thread. I’m not going to touch on everything,...

Nausea and light headed after doing deadlifts

Ok, so I am moderately fit. I’m more cardio fit then strength fit though, but I’ve been lifting weights on and off for two years. I’ve started being more serious with it in the last two months. Today I decided to do dead lifts for the first time in months. I did 3 sets at my 6 rep max. I wanted to...

Help with my chest.

I got bigger biceps. Now want big triceps.

I followed a workout "program" that I saw on a website that promises you to increase your biceps by up to 2.5 cm in just two months by doing 40 chip-ups a day. I'm just over 1 month in, and I measured my arms flexed and indeed I got about 1.6 cm. They were 31 cm flexed before and now are 32.5...

Front delts

This is a weird one... Front delts are actually a weak point for me. Chest takes over all pressing movements. I stopped overhead pressing due to nagging injuries. Any good/unique exercises to isolate the front delt? Currently bench press, incline press, and do various front raises. Thanks

What can I do about my sad, empty, feeling after working out?

Yesterday was the first time in my life that I did strenght training. I also planned to do the same workout today but my muscels were so sore I could not...

Would you consider someone who can do a set of 6 BW dips but not even 1 pull-up to have a push-pull imbalance? Let’s just say they don’t bench bars or dbs.

Big biceps versus lifting weights

Suppose I grow my biceps doing something that does not involve dumbbells, for example, by doing weighted chin ups. Suppose they get considerable big. Will I then be able to lift heavy weights? Specifically, I'm thinking of holding my girlfriend in my arms. (She's not that fat, by the way Lol) ...

Question Involvement of pectoral in flies/cross vs press

Lightbulb Working out without dumbells or barbells

Hello! I am at home and there is no way to have equipment for working out. So I do push-ups with weighted school bag (heavy things inside it like books). And I use the school bag for training my biceps in the same way we do the exercise "standing barbell curls". I train my triceps by the bag too...

Question I need leg exercises that won't exacerbate my anterior pelvic tilt.

Seems like squats are out, unless I do them upside down on a leg press machine with my lower back pressed firmly against a bench or something. And I don't own a leg press machine. Just lowering the weight hasn't worked, because I still keep overextending my back and my anterior pelvic tilt...

Am I neglecting inner chest by using weighted dips as my primary push movement?

Without gyms, I've been using weighted dips as my primary chest/tri exercise. I do close grip dumbell presses to end my workout (and sometimes incline, but ive actually found dips hit my upper chest) but I only have 30s so it's not really a strong stimulus. My question is am I neglecting my...
