Dropping weights increase sets

Hi guys Does it make sense if i drop weight to increase sets. Currently I am doing 3x10 for certain weight, then i try dropping weight to do 5x10, I felt that i get more juice out of it. But does it make sense? I see some people doing 15 sets etc... instead of the popular 3 sets.

Bulgarian squat vs Step up ratio?
