Sticky Thread Sticky: The Bench Form Thread

Supine Leg Press

So the gym I go to has a Supine Leg Press machine, and I am curious if the only downside to it vs a regular squat would be lack of use of the stabilizers from using the machine vs free weight. Would it still work all of the same main muscles in a compound fashion?

Flat bench press useless?

There has been a lots of opinions, many of which claim that the flat bench press is a useless or just not a good exercise for building chest, and it's better to stick to the Incline and Decline. Your thoughts of it?

So my form on front squats is near perfect, I go ATG and all, however when going around 90-95% of my 5rm, my last couple reps the bar and my arms slightly drop as I'm going back up, is this slight decrease in form quality a huge deal? I'm not going too heavy, and am performing 3x5-6. Some opinions...

I'm forced to do very narrow stance squats. Am I leaving pounds on the table?

I'm having FAI on my both hips (working on it daily), the only way for me to get my hips lower than my knees during squats (with good form) is to squat with hip width stance, if I go any wider my hips stops me from getting low. The question for You guys is to estimate how much more weight could I...

What should I be able to do?

I'm 13 and I weigh 135, I'm wondering how much should I be able to dead-lift, squat, and bench, as a starting point, and what would be considered intermediate? I can currently deadlift 175, squat 160, and bench 100. Is this good? What should I be at?

No MMC on any exercises on right shoulder?

I went to a PT to solve this issue, but it was honestly a waste of time. Never again. Biggest waste of money. Affected Exercises/Movements where I can feel MMC on left, but not on right: 1) Any Chest Exercise 2) Scapular Retraction 3) Shrugs
