Sticky Thread Sticky: The Bench Form Thread

We see a lot of threads asking for bench form critiques on this forum. I feel like most of these threads are made because people don’t know how to critique their own form. They just don’t know what to look for. I’m hoping to narrow that gap with this thread. I’m not going to touch on everything,...

As picture attached, my chest is lagging in circle area, been trying to research what exercise is good for that, but not sure if it is called upper chest, or just an upper part of the middle chest, any exercise is recommended to activate that part of chest to grow?

Finally hit 225 on bench

Finally hit 225 on bench! My workout partner is 240-250 lb and maxes at 335. Such a pain to bench with him when he's repping like 275 and you gotta throw 185 back on every set. 😂 Quick question for you bigger guys. My shoulders won't grow no matter how hard I hit them. Bi's, tri's, and chest all...

I'm not really sure where to ask this, if it has been answered before, or if this is the right site to ask this on. So I was wondering...

Today I did bench on multipress and I picked the same weight. I could do 7 reps with that weight and it makes perfect sense because I just started using creatine and I took two caffeine tabblets cuz I was feeling really tired. Normally I can do 5 reps with that weight. So does it mean that it's...

Previously I did 4 sets of 20 with 20kg dumbells and I did feel the burn. How do you guys train calves, how...

Are lunges primarly a glutes exercise?

I ask this because when I do them I only get DOMS on my glutes and not my legs, unlike when I do squats, in which I clearly feel the work is mainly focused on the quads.

Question Vertical Leg Press vs. Regular Leg Press | Less Weight vs. More Weight

Has anyone done a vertical leg press and noticed that you cannot lift nearly the same amount of weight that you could on a regular leg press? From what I read this is due to the angle. Any thoughts / opinions? Just clarifying if what I am hearing is correct.

T-BAR Rows

At my school gym there is no good attachments (including no good low row attachment) that can be used as handles for T-BAR rows. Instead, I have to grab the actual bar to do rows. Is this safe or should I look into buying a low row attachment or T-BAR row handle? If so, where can I find one?

How many workouts a week for a beginning teen?

I made a post similar to this before but the answers I received were minimal and unhelpful, all I want to know is how many days should a beginner at age 15 workout? Is 3 days (push, pull, legs) spread out through the week enough to build muscle. Would it be better off to workout more frequently?
