exercise theory: volume = sets x reps

ohp on SL 5x5

Hey guys, I'm currently bulking and i'm on stronglifts 5x5. The author of the program suggests that you increase the weight on ohp by 2.5kg in each workout, if you have completed all the sets with 5 reps. Last time i did 5x5 with 35 kg but today i could do with 37,5 kg 5,5,5,4,4 on the sets....

What standing lifts should u NOT lock knees for ?

So far I forgot that u shouldn't lock your knees when doing OHP, what about curls, raises ? For them I always locked my knees like normal standing. I don't lock my elbows for OHP or raises. Sometimes doing curls I don't go all the way down, that is if I'm only doing 1 side tho

Forearms getting super sore during flat bench dumbbell flies

I haven't done dumbbell flies in years. I did them today, using super low weight (25lbs each hand) for 3x11. My forearms got really sore mid set on all the sets. I had to readjust my grip to alleviate the soreness mid-set. Does anyone else have this problem?

Substitute for military lifts at home?
