Sticky Thread Sticky: The Bench Form Thread

We see a lot of threads asking for bench form critiques on this forum. I feel like most of these threads are made because people don’t know how to critique their own form. They just don’t know what to look for. I’m hoping to narrow that gap with this thread. I’m not going to touch on everything,...

Will I burn muscle when doing jump ropes?

I'm currently doing IF while cutting on a 25% caloric deficit. I fast for 16hours every day & have an 8hour eating window. I consume 0.8g of protein & 0.42g of fat per lbs of bw each day. Been doing this for couple of weeks already, so far I've gained some strength while still having a good...

I don't have access to a gym, (leg exercises)?

Hi there, I'm 17 years old and I do not currently have access to a gym. I was wondering what leg exercises I can do on leg day at home (besides squats and calf raises) in order to burn a little bit of fat in my legs and get them more cut. Also, how many reps and sets should I do of each?

Is this overkill for abs?

Hey! I wonder if I do 6 ab exercises and sets 3-4 and reps 10-15, is this too much? I mean some ppl do abs everyday and some ppl do 2-3 sets twice a week. And they still got those abs showing. So is it bad to have "ab day"?

Can only do 5 push ups

Hi, I can only do 5 push ups. And on my 6th I collapse on my knees. When I try to do them again later in the day, I can barely get 1. I tried the 100 pushups program but found out that when I do my first set of 2( which is not my Max) I can't even do the 3 for set 2, 20 minutes later. So it's...

Is vascularity also genetic?

I know muscle aesthetics/shape are genetic but what about vascularity? Yes, having a low BF% is needed to visibily see vascularity and muscle striation, but some guys have really predominant veins on the bicep and forearms, or they're taking something. So is that a genetic thing or something...

Question Training for planche ... how to strengthen wrists (or is it a bad idea)?

I've decided I'm going to be doing some side-training for "cool" exercises ... planche pushups, 1 arm pullups, lever pullups, etc .. mostly stuff that requires serious core strength and a good deal of stability. Anyway, I was doing some "pseudo-planche" pushups today: planche but with feet on...
