Sticky Thread Sticky: The Bench Form Thread

We see a lot of threads asking for bench form critiques on this forum. I feel like most of these threads are made because people don’t know how to critique their own form. They just don’t know what to look for. I’m hoping to narrow that gap with this thread. I’m not going to touch on everything,...

Lower Back Pain After Leg Day

I sometimes experience lower back pain after doing heavy hip thrusts or deadlifts. Many people say that it may be my form, but i'm almost 100% certain it is not. My back is not rounded or hyperextended when performing it. My spine is in neutral alignment. Does anyone know why this may be...

Squatting and shoulders

I'm on the Stronglifts 5x5 programme. I haven't got a squat rack yet, so what I'm doing right now is loading the bar on the ground and clean pressing it onto my shoulders before each squat set. I have a feeling this is hitting my shoulders hard, leaving them spent for my shoulder press sets. Is...

Red face Huge without lifting weights

BzlJ_xDzmdg I don't understand. How can a 60 year old man get that huge and ripped without touching weights. Obviously we don't get to see his legs but look at that upper body. Built off nothing but pushups, pullups and dips. So what's the point of using weights if your goal is to get big?

Lat pulldown vs pullups

Do you think pullups are superior to cable pulldowns? I can do weighted pullups already but I get more contraction on pulldowns. That said, some people claim that if you can do chins, you have to because they are better than the pulldowns.
