Cool 100 reps of 75% max

What are the benefits of doing 75% of 1 rep max weight for 100 reps? Ex: I do 225 bench press for 100 total reps. However, reps are from 1-5 pyramid style until I reach 100. I do squats as well. I may include deadlift soon.

Question Bulgarian split squats hurt my lower back, because I have anterior pelvic tilt.

I'm gonna have to have this checked out by a therapist. But until I do, can I keep doing Bulgarian split squats? Or is the load going on my lower back, not my legs? I'm not that worried about the lower back pain so much. I'm worried about the squat not being effective on my legs.
