10 minute run a day to improve my cardio

I used to be a wrestler but COVID shut down all of the teams. My cardio has gone down quite a bit. If I was to do a 10 minute run everyday which would be longer than a wrestling match would it help me be able to last longer in the match when it starts up again? Question Trap Bar Row?
