Sticky Thread Sticky: The Bench Form Thread

We see a lot of threads asking for bench form critiques on this forum. I feel like most of these threads are made because people don’t know how to critique their own form. They just don’t know what to look for. I’m hoping to narrow that gap with this thread. I’m not going to touch on everything,...

Lean Forward at Bottom of Back Squat but not Front

Anyone else had this issue? I filmed myself the other day and holy crap once I get to the bottom of the motion I lean forward a ton and I slowly straighten my back out as I go back up. When I do front squats I don't seem to have that problem. It's amazing I haven't wrecked my back entirely yet....

one arm push-ups for chest hypertrophy

Here is the thing: I'm stuck at home with virtually no equipment and bodyweight dips and push ups are easy. I know that one arm push ups don't target the chest really well, shoulders and triceps will fatigue first, even with perfect technique(torso going straight up and down like in 2 handed push...

What is the best exercise for strengthening wide grip pull-ups besides the obvious?

So besides the exercise itself, what's best? I've always been pretty weak here. Am I right that this exercise is an intermediate to advanced exercise? I remember when I was a kid I could at least do the bicep pull-ups relatively easily. I think I would get close to 10 reps or more when I was in...

No gym? No free weights? You want to work out? Look here.

In this thread I'm going to list alternative exercises to do if you don't have access to normal gym equipment. Some of it may seem a little odd, but that's probably because you don't have a sense of humor like me. The front left keg weighs 90 pounds full. 1/6 barrel. 15 pounds empty. The front...
