When working each arm individually what is the rest time ?

When I do bicep curls, I prefer to complete 12 reps on my left arm in my first set and then complete 12 reps on my right. I was wondering whether I should then rest for a minute or move on to set 2 with a shorter rest as I was resting my left arm during my right arm reps ?
