Wrist pain - Rowing and bench form issues? Pics

I’ve developed an injury in both my wrists and right thumb from benching too wide (fixed now - benching slightly wider than shoulder width) and/or from rows. About three weeks ago I started benching wide thinking I was not benching wide enough. And felt that it caused my wrist to feel a bit too...

What to do about my chest?

Hi Everyone, I just started lifting again about two weeks ago and I just want to make sure that I add exercises to my program that will help to define my chest more. Do you have any advice? I don't have access to a gym, but I do have some equipment at home. My equipment includes a bench that can...

How did you progress on rows? Heavy Rower, how did you get there?

My rows are lagging behind in strength so I would like some advice from experienced lifters. The row always seemed like a tricky excersize to progress on especially since it's so easy to cheat oneself. Which row variation do you guys prefer? Dumbbell? Barbell? T-Bar? 45°? parrallell? Strict...

Is Incline Bench and Lateral Raise enough to develop shoulders?

Hey guys, trying to get back into the gym after a shoulder injury, and I'm finding OHP, Dips, and Flat Bench are all out of the question for me right now. Incline Bench and Lateral Raises, however, are completely doable on the shoulder. Is it possible to build good delts with just incline bench and...

Jumping jacks

I been doing jumping jacks like crazy. Guy in the military always did them and was jacked up like crazy. Muscles he had it all. Anyone do intense jumping jacks? They benefit you think? I also do the splits and stretches. Seems to work the aches real good and get them out of there.

Adapting to Chest Dips (DOMS every time)

Been consistently lifting for about a year and I'm progressing with all lifts. Have always tweaked form here and there and trained around some injuries too. When it comes to chest dips, I avoided up until 6 months ago due to them hurting too much and frankly I was just not strong enough. Now...

Bodyweight exercises

I just read that doing handstand pushups is very good for the shoulders and core and target a wide range of muscles, its quite an effective upper body exercise. I'd like to know if there's something similar that'd cover my lower body. Something which if I do regularly with handstand pushups will...

Squats adductor tightness in hole?

I started squatting again after many a year, and worked up to around a 300lb max. Progress was steady- until I recorded myself- squats weren’t hitting parallel, nowhere close. I tried different things and figured out that pushing my knees outwards more helps me sink lower and hitting parallel, but...

Should I lift if feeling DOMS?

As the title asks, should I attempt to lift even if feeling muscle aches in my shoulders, neck and back? I think that these may just be temporary from training hard everyday for the past week. Or should I just take a rest for a day or two and just do cardio and swimming? Appreciate the...

Can I go on the eliptical trainer for 45 min and 5 days a week with sprained knees

I sprained my knees accidentally and now I can no longer do squats and lunges so I was hoping if I could go on the eliptical for 45 minutes and 5 or 6 days a week. Please say yes because I have to workout because it is the only thing that is keeping me sane during quarantine.

Replacement for Gironda dips?

So, for years and years and years I could not get my chest where I wanted it. I tried it all- every version of press, fly, push up, you name it. Wide, narrow, inclined, declined, light, heavy, incanting to all the gods old and the new. Crap. Several years ago I decided to give chest dips another...

Question Lower Front Leg Workout To Balance Large Quads

I do cycling, as hobby, and I developed quite good quadriceps (they look bigger compared to rest of my body). My hamstrings and calves don't look weird. I do RDL and Calf Raises for these. However, I have small ankles (for reference, I have proportionally small wrists and 42mm watches are large...

Are Isolation exercises really necessary ?

Guys I have a question regarding isolations like for example bicep curls and skullcrushers. Do you really need to isolate your arms in order to see gains Or can you just stick to bench press, ohp, rows and weighted chin ups progressively overload them and see the same results?
