Jumping jacks

I been doing jumping jacks like crazy. Guy in the military always did them and was jacked up like crazy. Muscles he had it all. Anyone do intense jumping jacks? They benefit you think? I also do the splits and stretches. Seems to work the aches real good and get them out of there.
