Okay so google has failed me

So I've been lifting for about two and a half years now and I have only been in the actual gym for a year and a half. I know the basics and have seen incredible gains but I've noticed and have been addressing muscle imbalances recently. One question I have that I can't seem to find a straight...

Rows from a platform for longer ROM

At home I have some platforms I can do horizontal rows from in order to get longer range of motion, as the ground is not the limitor. It does require reducing the weight. Is it fair to say this type of row will hit the lats less and arms more? I use a trap bar for rowing.

Question Looking for proof that fixing a distended stomach is actually possible

Can't progress on OHP

Hi guys I'm following Fierce 5 novice program... I seem to be progressing on most of my lifts apart from the overhead press? I seem to have hit a wall at 42.5kg. Everytime I get to this point I fail, I lower the weight 15% but once once I've worked back up to this weight again I still can't...

Close grip bench stronger than regular grip?

Overhand chin-ups ?

Hey, i have a question. Why is nobody doing overhand chin ups ? I mean, when people do shoulder-width chin-up, where elbows go straight to the back, not to the sides like with classic pull-up, they always have underhand grip. I never saw anyone doing chin-ups (elbows go to the back, not to the...

Target different points of a muscle?

I have a PT at my gym that is shredded to the bone and he claims there are exercises/variations to target different points of a muscle, most commonly showing exercises which makes the line between muscle separation more noticeable e.g.separation between shoulder and triceps/biceps. Is this true?

Locking out at the top for a second after each rep on chest/delt presses, yay or nay?

I sort of "click" my elbows at the top of each rep to keep the motion going for bench/shoulder pressing for rep work for bench/shoulder press, 1-5 rep sets I will lock out for a second at the top after each rep. Locking out for a second at the top after each rep for 6+reps work, my triceps tend to...

Push up exercise

The push-up may just be the perfect exercise that builds both upper-body and core strength. It has many modifications so beginners can start with easier versions and work up to the standard push-up, while you can find a challenging variation if you are advanced. You can do the push-up as part of a...

Tibialis anterior weight?

I would like some guidance on percentage weight to use for tibialis anterior exercise. I currently use almost the same...
