Shoulder press!!

I’m talking machine not barbell, but should you lockout? Also, where should the forearms be vertical? I stop usually a couple inches short of lockout. I’ve read up that vertical forearms produce the most force, but should they be vertical at the start/finish only or through the entire motion?

Cool Power test

A common lower power test is the vertical jump test and its meant to test your maximum output. Does this mean that an individual with a better vertical will also have a better leg press compared to an individual with a lower vertical. P.S is it more appropriate to say the vertical test measures...

Jogging to the gym for cardio?

Quick question, Is jogging or cycling to the gym each day before workouts a good idea? I workout every day but train different body parts, and thought I could take this approach so cardio day is every day rather than just Once every few days or so I’ve been thinking about doing it but don’t...

Sudden Bicep Activation from Bench?

Ab straps vs hanging?

I've been doing a lot of hanging leg/knee raises lately. Some people say straight leg raises are more difficult, but that the knee raises give a better contraction and work the hip flexors less. I don't know which one is better. I usually start out with leg raises and when fatigue kicks in, i...

Glute Imbalance Question

Hey! So I have a bit of scoliosis and glute imbalance which I'm assuming is from it - had it all my life. In the past year I've started weight training so I'm trying to fix it. But I can't figure out if my left side is the weak or strong side? Can someone with more experience tell if it's bigger...

Squat shift to right

I only recently realised that its probably quite a good idea to record lifts from different angles to check my form. Saw that during my squat, I start to shift to the right half way just after coming out of the hole, towards the last few reps. I have a minor knee pain in my right knee that I've...

Side external rotations for scapula?

Hey all, first time poster. Hopefully I'm doing this right. I’ve decided to alter my workouts from a fairly casual routine to a much more rigorous and focused approach. Previously, I was going to the gym about five days a week and lifting for around 30-45 minutes, then doing cardio for anywhere...
