Can’t keep back/spine neutral or straight

Question Shrugs. High weight/ low weight or low weight/high reps.

Which is the best way to do shrugs? When I go heavy on the weights it eventually gets hard to do the full motion. Is it just better to go light weight/ high reps or should I just not be progressing if I can't go through to full motion.
