Hip add/abduction on multi-hip or not?

Can you perform the hip abduction/adduction better on the machine it self (with an squated position instead of sitting on the seat, if you get what I mean) or on the multi hip machine, if you want to target the glutes.

Any mobility drill to improve upper back tightness when squatting?

When I squat, I start with pretty good tight upper back (scapulas retracted, hands trying to bend the bar in half) but then as I descent, I gradually lose tightness and when I reach the bottom, my scapulas are no longer pinched together and I can't really put any tension on the bar with my hands....

wide vs narrow parallel grip pull-downs/ups : which is better for V-shape lats?
