Question Squats

Deadlifts, do they work quads?

For conventional deadlifts, are your quads involved at all? (During my workout I usually stand on a 3" wooden block when doing deadlifts, does this activate the quads to a greater degree during the movement?) thanks

Pendlay Rows

How Deep do you Squat?

Chest lacking

So I train chest 2x a week and the lifts I use for it are Bench 3x5, Incline Bench 3x5 and Cable Flyes 3x10-15. However my chest is still lacking and doesn’t seem to grow that much. My diet is in tact and I eat in a surplus so that isn’t the issue. Any help would be appreciated.

Do beginners need direct arm work?

Do beginners really need direct bicep and tricep work or do compounds only matter at this point. I am training all heads of my deltoid rather than just doing OHP, just wanted to know if I need to do the same with arms as well as benching and rowing.
