So my right arm is suffering from golfers elbow from bench press. Currently I am not doing Bench Press, but only Chest Press with my left arm. I have taken about 3-4 weeks off with my right arm to let it heal but it still hurts. I am trying to experiment with my left arm using the Chest Press...

How to progress in weight

I’m coming off a cut and thinking of bulking again and I’m not sure how to progress in adding weight correctly. I have read that adding as little as 1.25KG in weight each week is the way I have a couple questions: 1) If I increase the weight but I can’t get the same reps in as the previous...

Flat Bench sets vs Incline Bench sets

Here's the deal. I always do same amount of sets of incline as I do with flat. My incline is always at 37 degrees. What Im getting at is my front delts are tight as hell and it hurts as well where the biceps connects in my armpit. Takes me lots of light reps to get the blood flow in there and have...

Hip thrust woes

Barbell hip thrusts are a great lift for glutes, but I have a heck of a time trying to get into the starting position with these. Almost seems like i'll break my neck getting set up against the side of the bench, real annoying. Is there any easier ways to set up for these? Or is it better to just...

By the gods, I finally solved my chest issue.

I've struggled with the bench press because I am so weak. Really weak. But I am finally able to start working my chest via this exercise: 'Wall push ups'

Rep tempo question

Today I did skullcrushers, one set with 20lbs on the bar - 10 reps - and one set with 10lbs on the bar - 12 reps (both taken to failure). I slowed down the eccentric on that last set to 2-3 seconds and paused at the bottom. As far as building muscle goes, which of both ways of lifting is...

Calf raise machine marks

Whenever I use the calf-machine, I get use red marks on my shoulders (where the pads with the weight sit). Are there any alternatives for calf raises that won't get me these markings all over my shoulder? It looks like somebody played 10 games of tic-tac-toe on each of my shoulders

Side delt focus

Are there any downsides to not doing the back squat and just doing the front squat?

I was having back pain off and on for months last year and it took me a while to narrow down what might have been causing it. The pain always seemed to be triggered by leg day and I eliminated exercises like the back squat, RDL, conventional deadlift, seated leg curls, and basically anything that I...

Mystery of the middle abs

Question I’d like to hear your thoughts on. I have defined top abs and strong defined lower abs but the middle two appear completely missing cussing a dent shape side on. What the hell? Why is this happening and any thoughts on fixes to target this mid section?

Sled Push done right !

New equipment at my gym. Anyone ever tried this with it?

I keep hearing about "reverse hypers" online, so I had to try it when the machine appeared in the gym one day. Of course the load is zilch at the bottom so it was basically all glutes just like hip thrusts. I added bands to get some tension on the hammies. What ya think? Will it work? ...

What are the weak links in the "Triple Crush Combo"/Dumbbell curl/press/extension?

Men's Health didn't invent this, but they call it a "Triple Crush Combo." I'm told this is a good time saver, but bad for optimum gains because people tend to have different strengths at bicep curl, the overhead press, and the tricep extension. What you can curl is different from what you...
