Leg day exercise form check

Been having some reoccurring low back/hip flexor soreness that nags on in my leg workouts and I want to know if it’s my lack of form that’s causing it. Couple videos here, if you have any tips let me know

Lightbulb Decline bench press without a spotter

Is there any way to do the decline bench press without a spotter ? for the flat bench press and squats I use a sawhorse because I do not have a spotter which works really well but now that I started to do the decline bench press it is much too low so I can't really go heavy. Is there anything I can...

I'm 28 and think I'm growing taller... Is it exercise?

Hi all, first thread! (HOW EXCITING) About 4 months ago I got into body building. I have a few hormonal issues and generally have a higher level of testosterone, androgen and progesterone compared to most women. Sufficient to say, lifting weights and body building was/is relatively easy for me....

Do I do too many sets for legs?

Hands up if you’ve seen me and my threads many times, for the past month. So, I am curious, I want to grow muscle. But the problem is, that I can easily overtrain. Since my body heals really quickly After an exercise. No matter How heavy and hard that was. I do legs twice a week, 5-6...

Dumbbell Prone Row

Whats your thoughts on the prone row and how valuable is it to your workouts for those that use it. Any specific reasons why you would use it over any other rows?

Sled pull / push

So I'm thinking of making a homemade sled that I can put weights on and pull/push it. Two questions. 1) what is a heavy sled pull/push? For example a 315lb bench would be pretty good. Or for example the rankings on I'm sure I can just throw on weight till it hits a reasonable...

Progression on isolation excercises?

So i usually are about 5 lbs a week or 1 rep to my compounds. I try to increase the reps by 1 per week on my isolation movements (I usually start off with 10 reps and move to 15 reps before I add weight). But recently I’ve noticed my form slacking because of the weight I add. Would it be beneficial...

Building up leg strength.

Basically I've ignored working out my legs since I have naturally large legs (16 inch calves without working them out more than once a month). So my legs are lacking in strength. I did a couple sets of squats today but I was too sketched out to go over 185. On leg press I went up to 400 without...

Switching to pause reps instead of touch and go reps on bench press. Good or bad?

I am trying to increase my bench press and I feel more stable and have better control using pause reps while benching heavier weights (7 sets of 3 reps). Touch and go reps with heavy weight on the bench press feels awkward on my core, especially my joints. I feel that touch and go reps are good if...

Reps to weight to bench press ratio

So, I am 16.5 I weigh 67KG and am 171cm, when I bench press I do 45KG with the bar, I do 8 sets and each set I do 8 reps, is this good? Been training chest once a week for 3 or so years and bench pread for half a year, I do around 65 push ups.

Where should my bench be?

Hey guys. I just started 5×5 and have been wondering where my bench should be? I'm pretty small guy 5'7 and 136. I hit 120 on the bench and haven't trained more than a couple workouts now. Just wondering where I should be most likely for my size and training experience.

Question about doubling up in a workout?

So I’m pretty new to the gym and I’ve been progressing with my newbie gains for a bit so far. I recently switched from a workout filled with isolation lifts while I was still figuring out my weak points (basically just my upper body in general— mostly lats and traps), and now I’m on a shorter...

Difference between underhand / narrow grip chin-ups ?

Hey, i cant find difference on internet (if there is even any, but i think there must be) between classic shoulder-width chin-up with underhand grip and classic shoulder-width chin-up with narrow grip (or we can call it just close-grip pull up). I always did chin-ups with underhand grip, nice...
