Question Anyone doing high rep front squats here?

Under high rep, I mean more then 5 rep. And off course, with a decent weight, I mean if you do reps with double bodyweight backsquat, doing reps with a 1BW front squat doesn't count... So how much rep can you do with how much weight, explained in bodyweight? How did you achived that? ...

Question Tinnitus after isometric squat. Should I be worried and what can I do?

Matters of physicality are foreign to me, as you may have presumed from my user name (perhaps I will get a new account\user name when I am no longer a neophyte) and post count. Thus, I hope you will pardon me for any stupid questions. Anyway what occurs is as follows: I hold the isometric...

Can't Retract Scapula In Benchpress D:

So I've heard retracting your scapula protects your shoulders when you bench. However, my shoulder blades always seem to "slide" out into a protracted a position when I bring the bar up from the bottom. Is there any way to fix this? I don't get shoulder pains so maybe I'm just thinking about it too...

Not feeling muscular failure

I've noticed that during my workouts (all pros) I end my set with the required reps but just with the feeling of being tried and out of breath, not because of a burn.

Pain in both thumbs when barbell rowing and deadlifting with moderate to heavy weight

I get pain in both thumbs when barbell rowing 165 lbs and heavier at around the 7th rep and rowing 175 lbs at around the 4th rep. It starts out as a slight discomfort at the base of my thumb joints from the pressure of the bar tugging down on those joints while gripping the bar. The more reps I...

Gaining inches on the arms

Recently measured my right arm and found it was about an inch to 1/2 an inch away from where I'd want to be. I browsed this forum for advice regarding gaining inches on the arm and I saw a few people suggesting that it's absolutely necessary to gain a significant amount of weight in order to do so,...

My bench sucks

I'm the rare person who mostly trained legs. I got into lifting through college football. With so many people in the training facility at the same time, I was told to train legs, back, and core first and get to bench last if I had time. Usually the linemen had priority on bench. Needless to say, I...

Knees caving with narrow squat stance

If i place my feet a little more narrowly together (about shoulder width) and squat my knees cave inward on the way up, not a ridiculous amount but it is very noticeable. as the title implies I can fix this by simply squatting a little wider and they hardly cave in at all. I have dropped the weight...

Correct angle for bench on Seated Overhead press

Hey guys. So due to the limitations of my home gym (6' ceiling), I have to do my barbell overhead press seated instead of standing. Should I set my bench at its highest position (90 degree angle), or should I have it in the second to highest position? I'd guess its somewhere around 75-80 degrees. ...

Is it possible to work legs without weights?

Just to be clear, I just want my legs to be proportional to the rest of my body. I work out to be healthy and not be fat, I'm not trying to look like a bodybuilder or anything. But here's the thing, I blew my knee out a few years ago at work (law enforcement) and now whenever I do legs (squats,...
