Everyone dumping their stocks, meanwhile I'm buying...

Seems like a good time to leg in while the market falls/corrects. Dropped $3000 when the s&p went down like 3% a few days ago, and just put $10,000 more in today after another big drop. I'm sitting on a huge cash reserve and the plan is to put 3-10k in every time the market falls more than 2% in...

Anybody change their career in their 30’s?

31 here and I ultimately have decided I need to change my career. Which means I would have to go back to school. Seems like drastic decision but I know it’s what’s best for me and my future. Anybody do this before?

Balancing my recent promotion and my future dream career across country

Today I was promoted/given raise of 19% during annual review. I had not been promoted in nearly 3 years and had been getting 4-5% raises in my review each year. People with careers/jobs situations they are happy with: How did you choose?

Do you guys put trust in things like personality tests, etc? For career/job choice. Or did you rather go with a gut feeling of what you wanted to do (ie: "I like coding, am going to do that"). I feel like with career choices it's really hit or miss depending on people.

Can a bachelor's in computer science get you a cryptography job at CIA?

I'm curious because I am debating between bioinformatics or a career in network security. Do you need a PhD in math/Cosi to get jobs like that at the CIA? Or do they take bachelor's degrees if you're good?
