Home Value - Cul De Sac vs Busy Street

How much do you think a home on a quiet street ( cul de sac) with no through traffic at all compares to a home on a busy street? or even a regular side street in a residential neighborhood?

Anyone here actually tried daytrading for a living?

What were your experiences? How did a typical day go for you? What did you trade? This is a serious thread for those who've tried it whether you've succeeded or failed. I would like to hear actual experiences from those who have actually lived it. This is not an advice thread. I'm NOT...

Property Investing Options

So, I have some equity in my properties to play around with (around $170,000) and I am weighing on what strategy to take. I am in Australia. Option 1. Pursue capital growth. Seek out property that I feel will have capital growth but weekly returns will be negligible (I am not interested in...

Fixed vs adjustable rate mortgage

Why would i chose an AR Mortgage over a fixed rate mortgage? If i buy a 300k rental with 50k downpayment and 1,500 mortgage payment for 30 years, inflation will drive the value of my mortgage payment down while rent goes up Doesnt make sense, what am I missing

How long did it take for you to have your first 100k, 250, 500k, 1m?

I'm 22 and have 39k saved up, my initial goal was to have at least $100k before I'm 25 and out of the Army but I'm far ahead of schedule. Were your gains exponential? By how much? Ideally, I'd like to have $1m before I'm 30. When you hit certain check points, did you diversify or anything?

I would like to quit my new job, but I feel like it would negatively affect me

So I graduated with my degree in finance and economics about 7 months ago and I was aiming to get an active job interacting with people and stuff. I am a sales manager in this arena, and absolutely love this industry. This past year, I recruited 2 young guys in their 20s who are doing pretty well, despite no prior experience. One is 21, just an associate's degree, and will probably make 40-50k by the end of the year. He is a sharp kid,...
