is 1.5 million in retirement savings enough to retire at age 60?

assuming you have no mortgage. Your expenses would really only be running your house (property tax, insurance, utilities), a vehicle, food, cell phone bill and whatever else to enjoy your life.

With an employer match of 6% 401k would it be better to do a traditional or Roth and why? I'm completely...

I work construction and while its ok, I need something more steady, ideally use my degree or experience. My degree is Environmental Science, got 3 years experience, worked as a fire fighter for 9 years, and also did a bunch of teaching privately. I can't find chit for jobs, I apply to a bunch...

How do I tell if mortgage closing costs are high? (FL Brahs)

I've received one quote from a bank where the total closing costs are about 5% of the whole loan. I've attached a break out of all the associated costs. They're charging a 1% originator fee, which is nearly 4k by itself. Most of these items seem inflated compared with the first house I bought.

Cashback credit cards

Didn't see any recent threads on this, but still might be interesting to some. What's your go-to cashback card? The one you use for everything, and pay off in full each cycle, just for the rewards? Do you use different ones for different "categories" or the same for everything? I'll start with...
