Trading platforms (RH)

I currently use TD, but I’ve been considering switching over to Robinhood for the free commission. For whatever reason though I’m a bit hesitant. Any robinhood users around here. What are your thoughts. Pros, Cons? I like that TD has dividend reinvestment, that’s definitely a negative for me.

Long Term Growth vs. Short Term High Risk

What do you guys prefer? For me - I can usually make in a week what I make in a year on long term growth. Keep in mind my long term growth (specifically stock/funds) investments are being funded with less than $100k while my short-term high risks are being funded short term with less than 10k. ...

Investment Property

I'm 24 right now and have 55k saved up. Realistically to afford a house where I live I'll need a minimum of 100k-200k deposit which will take me a while to save. In the mean time should I invest the money I've already saved and buy an investment property in a cheaper city? I feel like its a waste...

I passed the written test last week and got the letter for the actual interview next week. It's a panel interview so 3 people or more I guess. I'm not really good at interviews and feel like my job history will fall short on my chances to get it. Does anyone have any tips?

Exclamation Student loan debt just hit $1.5 trillion

How NOT to miss out on the coming recession (2 years ish)

Fighting poverty and later, mediocrity, starts from the ground up. The only way is to make yourself and everybody around you richer. I once gave a guy picking beer bottles out of the trash at Hess all the money in my wallet but you can't make an impact doing just that once a lifetime. So... If...

how many exemptions do you all claim on your W-4?

2017 was the first year that I started claiming more than 1 exemption. I had it at 8. This way I do not pay any federal taxes on my paychecks during the year. Obviously that means I owe the government a lot of monies come tax filing time. Since I'm very good with my money I wasn't worried about...

'disastrous recession coming up'

It's a refrain I've heard for the past decade or so. The stock markets are due for a huge correction. The real estate market is inflated. I woke up this AM to a 'hedge fund billionaire' calling for a doomsday scenario recession. He basically said that all the market factors in place right now...
