No longer DYEL but still can't DTFP

Hi all, I've been out of the game for quite some time. Due to some pretty horrible life events that I won't get into, I hadn't lifted properly or consistently in a long time (talking over two years barely going to the gym once a month on average), I hadn't taken care of my physical health at...

Post Lance’s Fierce 5 Novice Log

Hi everyone Ok, I’m taking the advice of ItsTiME35 and creating a log as I go through this program. I’m hopeful that it will be a little bit motivational (e.g. enforcing some kind of accountability) as well as that the occasional passerby might stop in and offer some useful advice. Plan...

The CornLog

Going to log my program on here now that I've transitioned from PL to BB. I have designed my own program using the principles from Dr. Mike Israetel and will be doing an U/L split. The progression will be reps, then sets, then weight. i.e. 200 for 3-4x8-12 200x3x12 > 200x4x12 > 205x3x8 ...

First Time Log (Fierce 5)

Not really sure what all goes in to this, but I figured it'd be nice to start something up and get some sort of feedback or support from other people as time goes on. Today was my very first workout on the Fierce 5 regiment, so it was a lot about testing weight and what I thought I could do and...

AntM's Lean Bulk and Everything Else This Summer Log

I have decided to throw up a lifting log for the summer. Since I will have a little more free time, I figured why not! For those that do not know me, I have a lot of experience with the Starting Strength program. Pain is weakness leaving the body

I had a spine injury a few years back after getting thrown off my horse. He jumped, bucked and spun, I could have handled any two of those but all three was a bit much and it's a long way down when your horse is 17 hands. I've been back in the saddle for a while now and we had a great ride just...

My Attempt at keeping a log alive - Jim Wendler's 5/3/1 - Hypertrophy variation

So I decided lately that I was going to get into a Jim Wendler 5/3/1 plan, and maintain this for a few cycles. This is my first time running this kind of program, so results are to be expected, or so I hope... Wendler's program is usually split into 4 training days, one dedicated to each basic...
