Hit and Run - Recourse?

Dear Diary - Some stupid sloot was texting and driving, and managed to hit my truck and drive off. A witness saw it and relayed this to me, but his English was terrible, and he didn't get the plate. Obviously insurance will cover it, but is there any additional recourse in this situation? With...

What do you think of the new Civic Type-R?

Looks pretty pissening if you ask me. If I were in the market I would definitely look into it. Cheaper than a Golf-R/STI/RS, similar performance, better quality and reliability than VW/Ford/Subaru. Better performance and quality than the WRX/GTI/ST. Sounds like they fixed the problems of FWD too....

Looking for a mid-size suv around that doesn't look like a minivan with a nose job

I'm stuck brahs. Not willing to spend more than 36k because racecar. Also needs to be AWD, because there's no fukkin point otherwise. I've been looking at the 4runner, the cx9, and the pathfinder. The 4runner is my favorite, but that gas mileage is kind of bad and there's no leather interior...

Any ideas why my coolant boils over when my car is stationary?

I can drive long distances (90 minutes+ on a highway) without the car temperature rising that much, but if the trip involves the car having to stop a lot (eg. red traffic lights, traffic jams, etc) then my car temperature gauge starts to rise relatively quickly, and then the coolant will end up...

Exclamation Painting my car in my garage for the first time?

How hard can it be? I want my whole car repainted - it's a gloss red. No fancy paint but I don't want to shell out a billion dollars either. How hard can it be? What equipment would I need? How much would the prep supplies cost? It's a 2006 Mustang GT. I refuse to pay a cuck $2000 to paint my car...

Regret not getting 4wd.

Truck bro's...I'm thinking of going back to a truck..a f-150 ecoboost to be exact. I never tow much but always hauling fishing equipment, motorcycle parts, and knick nacks. I will tow my bikes with it and that's no weight at all. I'm stuck on the decision of 4wd...I know it's kinda that "wrather...

2017 Mazda6 or Honda Accord

Which one is better for the long run reliabilty? I have yet to test drive either, will do so soon. I currently have a 2014 Accord which I do like quite a bit but want to get into something new and keep it for 15-20 years or 300k miles. I will definitely drive it well and maintain it regularly.
