The CX30 and Mazda 3 seem to be a good value for a daily driver. I'm considering selling my diesel truck and getting either one of these for a daily. I know Mazda lags behind Nissan, Toyota and Honda in terms of sales, but is it just because of lack of advertising?

Is it just a matter of good snow tires vs all seasons? I have about 300hp and get around just fine on all seasons, just gotta be careful. I can't imagine 400+ hp though, sounds a lot harder.
