HELP: Best foods to eat before, during, and after exercise

Hi! So my understanding of exercise nutrition in a nutshell is: Before exercise - stock up on carbs 2-4 hours before exercise to optimise glycogen stores. During exercise - if exercise goes beyond 60 - 90 mins consuming mainly carbs with a bit of protein in a ratio of 4:1 will prolong time to...

Need to lose weight. Is Intermittent Fasting (IF) good?

I was always a fit dude back then around 3 years ago. My BMI was within the average range and well, I would say I looked really fit back then. Then when I met my current girlfriend when we went on foreign dating events we became quite careless about our physical looks and our health. We’ve been...

Leaky Gut

Anyone deal with it before? I've been accustomed to having a larger food intake (volume wise) over the years and never really took into consideration what the health of my gut was/is like. Took it upon myself to start taking a mild probiotic a few days ago and saw much of my chronic fatigue,...

Should I be taking a multivitamin?

I'm wondering if it's worth spending the money on a multivitamin. I'm cutting, and will be for probably 5-6 more months. I'm eating 2200 cal daily and I try to keep my diet well balanced including lots of green veggies.

As an example if someone who weighs around 185 lbs and tries to get 0.8g of protein per pound of body weight that would be around 150g of protein per day. Getting this from healthy whole plant based foods alone seems impossible to me yet tons of vegans claim they can easily do this. But even...

I just got the results of my bloodwork and I was pretty happy with everything other than my free T4 and total cholesterol. Most fitness websites will claim that 50 lb of muscle is the most you can gain in your lifetime. Yet, there are ripped people weighing 200-250 lb. Can someone explain this to me?
