What is considered a "long" femur and "long" torso?

I see a lot of people complaining that their squat form sucks because of long femurs or long torso. What is considered long? My femurs are about 22" measured from outside of knee to hip bone, I'm 6" tall. I do not even know how to measure torso. I'm not really obsessing about this, been...

Won my first meet

I just did my first meet Saturday. I didn't go in planning on winning anything. I just wanted to have fun and set some PRs but there was 1 other guy in my weigh division(181 open) and it was his first meet as well. We both benched 325. He out squatted me but my deadlift put me out in front and won...

Hopefully someone can explain this to me

It's hard to explain, but I'll give it a go. I have a little bit of experience competing, but I still wonder how this works. Gaining weight helps a lot with strength. No surprise there. But when you're in a pound for pound sport, when do you get to the point where you stop gaining weight? I see...

Deadlift. At what point will the bar snap? Do they use special bars for pro meets?

So I was watching Eddie Hall, the best deadlifters the world has seen; as he lifted I think 500kg or something to that effect. I noticed what appeared to be electric tape on the middle of the bar, I presumed for support, and the bar was really bending at that weight. So I was wondering if...

So I weigh about 133 right now, and I compete as a 123, my best raw lifts are Squat: 400 Bench: 240 Deadlift: 420 The thing is, my squat has dropped heavily, the weight feels overwhelming on my back, even 225 feels heavy on my back. Now although it feels heavy, I still hit 360 for a...

I pulled 300x6 last weekend, but I felt like I probably had more in me. I also pulled 285x12 on Thursday and I was tired as hell before. My weak point withdeadlifts is my initial pull, so I've been doing defective pulls and it has helped. I train my deadlift tomorrow and I'm thinking about starling...
