What is considered a "long" femur and "long" torso?

I see a lot of people complaining that their squat form sucks because of long femurs or long torso. What is considered long? My femurs are about 22" measured from outside of knee to hip bone, I'm 6" tall. I do not even know how to measure torso. I'm not really obsessing about this, been...

Deadlift critique?

Broke my leg 15 months ago, Been feeling down in the dumps about my deadlift since then. My form has looked pretty terrible past 300 and while my bench and squat are back to what they were pre-injury my deadlift just wont cooperate. I've been trying different things to find a way I feel...

Hey Folks, Anyone out there had a torn bicep that they didn't have reattached? My left bicep tore (Badly) two years ago. The head appears to be approximately 2 inches further from my elbow than it should be. Doc said it was too late for surgery. I can feel it cramp up under stress from time to...

Form check. Squat, deadlift and bench. Videos included.

Hi all I’ve recorded myself doing bench, squat and deadlift in a recent session. I still consider myself a beginner / improver to powerlifting so probably a lot to improve. I’ve been doing it almost a year now. Squat (60kg): youtu(.be)/Zi6Zn82_LNQ youtu(.be)/-SZloUgdO9w

Solution to Brain Fog from lifting heavy?

So I've noticed that after lifting heavy I cannot think as well for up to 48 hours. If I try and lift then go to class I cannot pay attention at all, and for the day or two after I lift I don't have the same attention span. It is very discouraging for me, especially because this is my last year in...

Strange feeling/light headed during bench.

I was benching yesterday, feeling good, moving nicely. I do 5x5. Got to the 3rd set and set myself up the usual way, breathe in, brace, leg drive etc... As I lowered the bar though I began to feel lightheaded I thought it's just a blood pressure thing as I was braced tight. When I pressed the...

abandon current program or 'stretch' it out to peak for meet?

Hi Folks, I've been lifting for about a year and following Andy Baker's Garage Gym Warrior program for a bit - currently in week '9' of 12. You're supposed to peak at 13 and re-test maxes. Well, two things have happened. First, I entered a power-lifting meet, but it's about seven weeks...

Have you ever tested your strength by how many handkerchiefs you can rip up at once?

If so, how many did you manage to rip up? If not, how many do you think you could? Would it be a waste to rip them? I mean fabric handkerchiefs, not paper tissues.

Back leaning forward on squats

Idk if this is considered normal, but recently I've had this issue where during my heavy Squat days, when I try to get out of the hole of the squat, my back almost automatically leans forward and my hips shoot up to maintain center of gravity. I do high-bar btw. I've tried doing low bar but I...
