I'm asking the "strongmen/women" now: Are weighted pistol squats just a test of strength? Or can someone gain muscle mass from regular usage? Can they help increase sprinting acceleration or speed? Are the glutes and hamstrings activated as much as the quads in pistols?

Shoulder, bicep, and elbow pain when benching

Bench is terrible, squat is non existent

Powerlifting nutrition

Starting the madcow 5x5 program. I’m going to be working out intensely mon wed fri and then light calve and ab work Tuesday and Thursday. Do I eat maintenance or surplus? I’m guessing surplus? Also should I increase calories on workout days or keep consistent for the whole week?
