Improving Squat

Any advice for building a stronger squat? My bench and deadlift aren't of a concern to me, however being 6'3, my squat feels awkward and I have trouble building strength. I have a dedicated squat day each week, for accessory work I do pause and split squats after squatting 5 heavy sets of 3-5 reps.

What is a Average Deadlift standard for a 185lb male?
