How to benefit from a switch to low-bar squat?

I have been squatting high-bar since I started exercising but I have gotten more into powerlifting and would like to put up a 4-plate squat. I've read low-bar can add 10% more to an athletes squat, is this true? How would you get this benefit and how can you benefit from low-bar more than high-bar.

Gym Recommendations in Houston, TX

I want to squat 4x week (at least 3) bench 3x week and deadlift 2x week (it can be a speed day and a max day), is there any program like that? My lifts are (kg) 100 BP, 100 SQUAT (just started doing it bc of knee injury) and 130 DL, thats mainly why I want to squat a lot.
