Need a lil' motivation?

The other day a friend asked me "Are you going to do this for the rest of your life?" I responded "As long as my body allows it!" Whether you're competitive or recreational - you always have to make a sacrifice. There's no question about it, whether it be eating foods you don't want to,...

Post Workout Protein Intake "Window"?

I read a lot about guys doing cardio before and after their workout . I also have heard that you have about a 20-40 minute window after working out after which effectiveness of protein intake (shakes, food, etc) declines sharply. I'd like to add some cardio to the end of my workouts, but don't...

2 gyms closed in my area. What should I do?

The gym I was a member of closed suddenly in July of this year. I then joined another gym but they just closed suddenly about a week ago. There aren't any other gyms in the area other than a "Steve Nash" sports gym but it's more expensive than the other gyms. This has killed my motivation...

Thumbs up This might motivate someone

So for the last month or so, I've noticed more and more of those typical Ed Hardy wearing guys who are actually really small. It got me thinking and I realized 'some people have clothes to make their bodies look good; other people have bodies that make their clothes look good'. So now whenever...

noob military training -split the road-

It wasnt a cut or a bulk. I wanted to see results from both sides knowing my muscle gains and fat losses would not be optimum. after 3 months my pecs and back are looking a lot better. forearms are more defined. I overtrained my biceps and tris so i see no gains there. overall conditioning...

I'm 6'0 about 205. I dont want to be thin, I want to be built. I have muscle definition but there is more fat that muscle right now. I have medium sized love handles and a gut. Unhappy No one supports me!

So, everyone I have in my life is against me doing a figure competition, whatsoever. My husband does not want me to, my in-laws keep telling me it's a dumb idea and everyone else too. I have been so excited to do this, beyond motivated and working hard and all these people just want to drag me down...

The Game of Life

One of the things that life is well known for is its ups and downs. It can tend to be full of mysteries. It can tend to keep you in darkness. If care is not taken, if you donít take the necessary precautions the darkness could last for a lifetime. Some things happen in a flash. Bad and good...

However, here's my story so far: I have recently attained my self-imposed weight loss goal. I started at 230 pounds (my peak of weight),...
