Sticky Thread Sticky: The Official Power Rack Thread - August 2010 version

This is a collaborative effort from the equipment forum members. The 2008 edition has a lot of broken links and rather than keep that one going we decided to start a new one. First let’s have a few definitions to clear up some confusion. Squat Stands: These are probably the most useless...

I don't think a thread like this exists for the barbell, so I wanted to start one. The Olympic barbell is one of the most important purchases one can make for their home gym. Kabuki Strength Transformer Bar Review...not a Coop Review

So...

Anyone microload with ironmasters (not magnetic platemate)?

I'm considering upgrading to ironmasters (whenever stock eventually returns), but one of the things I like about my current spinlocks is the ability to cheaply & easily microload as I bought wasters to weigh 0.5lbs per side and I have 1.25lb plates. Thus I can progressively overload in 1lb...
