Power Rack depth - 24" sufficient?

I'm strongly considering getting a Titan T-3 short rack for my home gym. It will be replacing a home made beast of a wooden wooden rack that has served very well, but I'd like to upgrade for some additional features. The wood rack has 30" inside clearance, which seems about perfect for sufficient...

Titan T-2 Power Rack

After some research I decided to the the Titan T-2 POWER RACK. Building a home gym and a budget. https://www.titan.fitness/cages-and-racks/t-2-racks/titan-t-2-series-power-rack.html Seems like a decent piece of equipment for the price. Anyone else have this one?

Nautilus 0-90 vs IronMaster Super Bench

This may be a silly question but I would really like to hear people's opinion anyway. I am newer to lifting but I have been working out for a few months now and I recently purchased some PowerBlock U-90's for my home. I am currently in the market for a nice bench and have read many good reviews...

Barbell upgrade - worth the cash?

I have a 25mm 6.6 foot 15kg womans stainless barbell with passive knurl and no centre knurl. When i started my home gym i bought it because my wife wanted it. My question is, should i upgrade to a rogue power bar, or similar, and why? I do squats, bench press, deadlifts, barbell row. My...

Equipment Crew Tech Thread

Well, here it is. We've been needing this for a little while. Hopefully this can consolidate both techie discussions & all of these headphone questions that pop up now & again. I'll start the thread off with something not as complicated & more universally understood. I took a look...

Rogue Barbell Club

I figured it's probably long overdue for a Rogue Barbell Club. I'm sure there's some vintage (circa 2006) collectors out there too. I'll start off: Rack: Rogue R3 w/ Matador and Landmine attachments Bars: Rogue Ohio Power Bar, Rogue Matt Chan Bar, Rogue SB-1 Safety Squat Bar Bench:...

Question What is a good alternative for a leg press?

I currently workout at home, I just purchased a power cage, and Olympic weight plate set 300LB I have a great decline/flat/incline bench, that has a 600LB limit, dumbbells, a home gym 150LB cable machine with most attachments and treadmill. I am not trying to spend any more money than I already...

Question The heigher the heel, the better for front squat?

Hi! I want to buy an Oly shoe for front squating only. My question is, that a higher heel is always better then a lower one? I'm planing to buy a More Mile Lift 4 shoe, and it's got a 1,37" heel (35mm), which is higher then the standard. I'm currently squating in chucks, my flexeblity is...

Belt squat machine

Does anyone here have Wenning's Belt Squat or a Pit Shark? Or any other bely squat out there? If so, what kind of footprint does it take up? Obviously there is the machine size, but what size space does it actually need to work around it, load plates etc? I really want one, but $3-4k...

Recommend me a bench

hi, I need a weight set and a bench. So a barbell, dumbells and a bench. I also need the bench to be folding as my house is small. Anyone know of any decent ones for under £200? I've seen a few with vinyl weights but I think that might not work as you can't fit many vinyl weights on dumbells...

EZ Curl Bar

Just wanted to get a little feedback before I made a purchase. I currently own a used EZ curl bar that I picked up at a garage sale about 2 years ago for $10. Not sure of the maker, but I am certain that it is of low quality. The sleeves barely spin, it has cheap decorative chrome that flakes off,...

Recommendation on vertical vs horizontal bar holder please.

Hey guys, I'm getting the Rogue RM-6 power rack and I'll have a Rogue curl bar and a flat bar as well. I want to get two bar holders that mount on the rack itself. While they both hold the bar in the vertical position, they have one that mounts horizontally and one that mounts vertically. Can...

Vulcan Strength Stainless Steel Power Bar & Calibrated PL Plates

I just left Vulcan's facility and I was able to see their new calibrated powerlifting plates as well as the new stainless power bar. I have to say, I am more and more impressed with what they are doing. The stainless bar is really nice looking and the knurl is fantastic. It's aggressive, but...

Micro Weights for PowerTec Dumbbells?

Any magnetic weights or anything out there that would make it easy to add 1.25 or 2.5 lbs to the dumbells? Sometimes adding the 5 lbs by stepping up from the handles with two added weights to the next plate with no added weights is a real biatch.

Rogue strikes again, Echo bike

I guess I should have learned. Made a thread about a lat pull down I bought from them a month or two ago. Due to that purchase and problems they gave me a gift card, so I rolled it into partial payment of their new bike. Put it together, one arm extremely loose. Called them, ...known problem,...

Rep Fitness Stainless Steel Power Bar Review

Is Tommy Nebula still with Arsenal Strength?

Kabuki Strength Power and Squat Bars

Kabuki has been hinting at their upcoming power bar for some time now and they just recently announced that they will be releasing a squat bar along with it. A little bird told me (i.e. the Kabuki CS lol) that the pre-order for both should go live either late this week or early next with a 12...

Garage Gym setup - UK

I’m about to start building a garage gym, already have a decent barbell, bench and plenty of plates, but I really need a decent power rack/half rack/squat stand. I’m ideally looking to spend around £1000, and would be good to have a solid chin-up bar. I don’t really want to bolt it into the...

Quality hex iron dumbbells that won't chip?

Can anyone recommend a brand of iron hex dumbbells that won't chip? I don't know if they are all made in the same Chinese factory but all the hex dumbbells I see for sale look identical, as if they come from the same place. And all the old hex dumbbells I see are chipped like crazy. I'd like a...
