If I had certified for training people how do I get a gym job afterwards?

If I had certified for training people how do I maximize my chances of applying to a job in a gym? For example there is a thread of in need trainers.

Training men and women

I am considering closing my gym to any new males, unless their spouse brought them in. Most are too irresolute and disorganised to get started, let alone keep on. 9/10 women who start make it through 3 months, but only 1/3 men. Fellahs, you're letting our side down. Thoughts?

Smile CSCS from an exercise science major's perspective

Hi all! I'm planning on taking the NSCA CSCS exam sometime in the near future and I wanted some insight from fellow exercise science majors. I have seen many threads describing the difficulty of the exam, but these are typically from people who do not have degrees in the field. Exercise science...

Need Help, no idea where to turn.

Hey all, So i'll get right to it. Two fridays ago I went to the gym with my usual nagging neck pain. (2-3 months of nagging dull throbbing) I warmed up, felt loose, did my leg workout, felt like a champion, best one in ages. Went to do leg raises to start off some core work and felt a sharp...

Cool Squat form

NCCPT is the stupidest certification in existance

So I bought the NCCPT online course. 38 videos which were all 20-30 minutes long. 15 chapters in PDF form, blah blah blah. Watched all the videos, read the chapters. Informative stuff, but since I've been working out for 3 1/2 years I knew most of it already. I go take the exam. 140 multiple...
