PT For Only Form

If you were a personal trainer and I approached you saying that I really want to do the Rippetoe's program and your only purpose would be to help with form on these compounds, would you like that? As a PT, would you rather set me up on your own program? Thanks.

Do PTs feel that their clients are more important?

This is an honest question, I am not trying to start an argument or anything. At my gym, it seems as if all the personal trainers feel like the members who are not paying for private training are second-rate. Trainers are constantly getting in my way and making me stop in the MIDDLE of my...

Question They are Trainers, but not employees?

I was talking to a trainer yesterday during my workout. He told me that he had to get his own insurance, and license to train at the gym. He says he is not independent ( dont know why ), and the gym pays him as if he was an employee. How can a gym do that? I guess gyms make their trainers get their...

Training Clients in a Public gym

So I'm planning on training clients in my college's public facility. Students and Faculty have free memberships, and the public pays a very reasonable fee. I plan on training mostly, if not only, students and faculty in the gym. Are there any legal issues that I should be worried about here?

Continuing PT

I searched and didn't see a thread about this. Like many people, I want to be a personal trainer or therapist for a sports team or something. I love personal training and about to get my BA. Does anyone know of any graduate schools or good programs to continue in this field?
