Unhappy Training "packages" rant

OK, so I encouraged my wife to join the gym I work out in, and she likes it. I also encouraged her to enlist the help of one of the trainers. I used to be a personal trainer, so I know you don't train your wife! lol Now she comes home and says the minimum "package" of sessions is 64 sessions over...

free v charging for services for friends/acquaintances

How do you go about someone needing your services when they're your friend or friend of a friend or acquaintance? My mother's friend wanted training for her son and was a little upset when i discussed a price for PT even when I gave a low price I made it 10 dollars cheaper. I really do not feel I...

Uneven Muscles?

This is my first post here. I have been working out for about 7 years now and on and off. I started off in 7th grade just bench pressing for strenght. I started to purchase gnc weight gainer, and must have used it wrong somewhere along the lines. My ribcage and chest got alot bigger over time, but...

What's the best

I'm going to be a freshman in college next year and I'm majoring in Nutrition Science but until I graduate I'd like to be a personal trainer at a local gym to help pay for college. Where is the best place to get your personal trainers certificate?

Hey Everybody, Has anyone here had any experience with the "Inches-a-Weigh" nutrition counseling and fitness chain? I was thinking about applying for a job there, as they don't require an R.D. license. Any info is appreciated. Thanks, C10

My latest pet peeve (serious, no hate)

Just a continuation of two previous threads. You're benching (usually it's during the bench press); you're going heavy, you're struggling, but you know you'll get the last rep because you've done it before and you are, after all, supposed to approach failure when you train. You're on your...
