Desperate! How do I fix my kinetic chain

Hi guys. So it's taking me a long time to self diagnose my problems. I found myself getting a lot of lower back injuries and once I started to study my form I realized that my legs naturally rest in a slight staggered step position. So after studying myself, it would seem that I have an external...

How do Personal Trainers feel about their positions at big box gyms?

I'm very curious to gauge how personal trainers feel about their jobs at big box gyms. What do you like? What don't you like? A little about me: I was a CPT at a big box gym for about 6 months before becoming jaded at how sales focused the job is and how little it seemed the management cared...

What does science say about lean gains?

I know a trainer on Facebook who claims he never cut and bulked, he always achieved what he calls "lean gains" so he gains muscle without gaining fat. Is there any science behind this, or is he a charlatan? I'm interested in hearing what personal trainers here have to say about this.

Working At L.A. Fitness: Advice/Opinions Please?

I was recently hired at L.A. Fitness as a Membership Sales Counselor. I needed a job badly so I threw caution to the wind. Everyone seems very shady. The managers keep showing off their Rolex watches. They keep talking about their 100K salaries. It just gives a wrong vibe. I started researching...
