post workout craving

why does one crave sugar after a workout? what causes this? I would really appreciate a scientific answer with as much detail as you know. I figure it has something to do with the glycogen your muscles lose during the workout, but not really sure. I will rep for help with this. thanks guys.

Question for NASM trainers

So I'm having to get a NASM cert on top of my ISSA cert for a comercial gym I'm looking to work at in the near future. My question is do you personally use the OPT model when training your clients all the time or is this just for the test for the most part?

I plan on becoming a personal trainer in the near future. I would like to start part time to supplement my income, and in time, take it on full time. Right now I'm researching certifications. From what I've read, the cert really isn't a big deal unless your gym requires a certain one. I'm...

Fitness Program vs Fitness Class

I'm currently running a fitness program that lasts for 6 weeks at a time. The program is going great and is growing big time and this is the second one of its kind that I've done. I'm considering just making it an ongoing class and let people pay by the month instead of 6 weeks at a time. What...

I want to expand my marketing to networking with other professionals but I have no idea how to approach this. How would I approach other businesses? What does a press kit consist of? Any pointers? I've read offering the DR a free session in the press kit is a good route to go.
