Online PT's - How do you communicate with clients?

Hey! Is there any online personal trainers here? If so, im wondering how do you communicate with the clients? Do you make them write down logs on paper and send pictures, is there a website or app where they can track their workouts and you can see what they have been doing? Thanks in advance :)

Anyone know exactly what 0.5 ± 0.50 kcal·min-1 means

What is this in layman's terms? The negative one is a power of minute by the way. It was not copied correcty. so basically "minute to the power of -1" is what it actually looks like. Tks
