Sticky Thread Sticky: DON'T LOOK PAST the BASICS

From what I've been reading in this forum recently, most posters here are, for some reason, missing the basics of fat loss, and instead, are looking for some magic bullet, or worse, putting their faith in some TV or youtube guru, or some online 'trainer' who's only trying to scam their $$$. ...

Eating under protein macro one day then compensating the next effect muslce gowth?

Say my daily protein requirement is 170 grams to build or maintain muscle. But on Monday I only consume 130 grams but then on Tuesday I consume 210 grams to make up for it. Does this negatively effect muscle growth? Or is this fine to do?

Do you feel less hungry when you lose weight?

I am wondering if you lose your appetite for food and lose cravings when you lose weight. Let's say you drop 100 pounds, is that going to change your appetite?
