Combining Kettlebells with Powerlifting.

I started doing deadlifts, squats, and benchpresses at my local gym for three days a week as weekends are the best time when the gym is less crowded. I was thinking of adding Kettlebells in the days in between for more functional strength and cardio. Would this be practical?

How Fast Can I cut/deficit whilst maintaining my strength, explosiveness etc.
