Help losing bodyfat?

Hello everyone. I'll make this easier by only saying that I started the cut about 3 months ago at 5"10, 170 pounds and 18% bf. After eating about 2000 cals a day, I'm 145 pounds and 12% bf, 30 inch waist and no abs at all. Why is that?

every time i eat less than 2800 calories i get insomnia!!!
